How to prepare a coffee tools customization brief
Prepare a coffee tools wholesale or customization brief with product codes, working sizes, quantities and design references for KICO to review.

A useful coffee tools brief turns a general idea into product-specific questions. KICO handles B2B wholesale and OEM/ODM customization inquiries. The scope must be reviewed for the product and project you have in mind.
Choose the starting product
Start with a catalogue product code or describe the tool you need. Identify whether the request concerns a tamper, distributor, WDT tool, portafilter or filter basket.
Use a product link when possible. If you are comparing several products, list them separately and explain which differences matter to your range. A broad request for coffee tools does not identify the working size, tool function or supply configuration.
Separate the required specification from the design reference
List the fit, dimensions and operating features that the product must meet. For a machine-fit item, include the machine model and relevant fitting information.
Then attach the visual references you want reviewed, such as logo artwork, a colour reference or packaging specifications. A reference communicates a requirement; it is not evidence that every process or finish is available for every product. Request confirmation of the feasible scope.
Break quantities down by configuration
State the requested quantity for each product and configuration. If your request includes several tool types, sizes or machine families, give each one its own line.
Do not derive an orderable variant from every photograph in a gallery. Some images explain product features or show a reference configuration. Confirm which options can be supplied before treating them as separate order lines.
Include the destination and timing requirement
Tell KICO the delivery destination and any date your project is working towards. This allows timing and shipping questions to be reviewed with the product request.
Ask for confirmation of the applicable minimum quantity, lead time, sampling arrangements, pricing and packaging scope. A requested date is a requirement for discussion, not a delivery promise. Commercial details should be confirmed for the specific inquiry.
Use a short brief that can be answered
Product code or catalogue link.; Required configuration, fit and working dimensions.; Quantity for each configuration.; Design references and packaging requirements for review.; Delivery destination, requested timing and open questions.
For instance, a tamper brief should say which tool is required and which working size needs confirmation. A portafilter brief should identify the machine and fitting requirements. A combination-tool brief should confirm the components supplied together.
Questions buyers ask
Does sending artwork confirm that a customization method is available?
No. Artwork communicates the request. The feasible product and process scope must be reviewed and confirmed.
What if a specification is not available in the catalogue?
Identify the missing measurement or requirement in your brief and ask for confirmation. Do not replace a missing specification with an assumption.
Send the brief to KICO
Use the customization page to review the information to prepare, then send your project inquiry. You can also begin with the current catalogue.
